The rule of the wicked and the righteous

Proverbs 28:1-2
"The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged."
Let us stop to meditate on these two very profound and insightful verses, understand that these verses were penned around 700 B.C. These verses were inspired by The Creator and Savior of mankind and written by the wisest king of Israel, King Solomon, King David's son. The principles written in the Bible are like elements of creation, like forces of nature; forces of nature were set in motion by God just like the unseen elements of wisdom and understanding and knowledge were placed in man. We have responsibility to look to The Creator/Savior for the key to use these elements that have been put there; they can be used and prosper the areas of our lives as wisdom, knowledge, and understanding are implemented, or they can be abused, neglected,(or as the saying goes,"if you don't use it you'll loose it), and when neglected we fail to experience God's blessing and love in our lives.
There have been leaders in this world who have fled from difficulties when those who had the backbone stood and confronted the issue that was at hand. In America's recent history there have been decisions made by wicked leaders and righteous leaders and we see the impact of their decisions, (ex. Ronald Regan; George H. W. Bush; Bill Clinton; George W. Bush; Barak Obama). If we consider the past and learn from it we may look ahead to the future, allowing our knowledge of the past to direct our decisions as to who we vote into office. To understand the future of our nation one needs but to go to the Bible and read through the Old Testament and dwell upon the books of History and Prophecy as it pertains to the book of Revelation in the New Testament.
Only 233 years ago our nation was founded on Biblical principles and in that short time span man's iniquity has multiplied greatly within our country to the point our current president openly stated that we are not a "judeo-christian nation"! With the increase of sin some of our leaders have used America's present moral weakness to step in and advance themselves in power, increasing the size of our government. The verse says "For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof:" If we, as a nation, turn back to THE Creator/Savior we would see this nation prolonged in its existtence. Upon what system of government and economics was our nation founded upon? A Democratic-Republic and a free enterprise system. A democratic-republic, a government by the people and for the people,[A GOVERNMENT BY THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE]. A free enterprise system has its roots in creation because as the wind is a force of nature and fire a force of nature, so economics has a force that must be respected in order to produce prosperity. For our nation to be prolonged as having been, in the past, the greatest nation in the world, we must have righteous rulers; not only in the executive branch of our government but also the legislative, and the judicial offices in order to bring the glory God once had given to America.
In closing, as Abraham asked God to spare the wicked city of Sodom he asked if there were fifty to ten righteous people in the city if God would spare the city...what is the ratio from city to country if there be one? Lord I pray that if there be a thousand righteous people that would pray and seek God's face for mercy on our land that this nation be spared and restored.
The righteous rule and the people are at peace under their ruler ship. I believe that in this nation the greatest times of peace have been because of men have ruled in righteousness. To ponder over the several presidents that have come and gone in this nation brings to mind the leadership of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Ronald Regan, George H. W. Bush and his son George W. Bush: these have stood firm and righteous in their office and served the people by protecting the people from dangers from within and without. I believe we would not be in the problems we are in if we as citizens used insight in the lives of the candidates who are running for office. As Theodore Roosevelt said, and may this phrase ring in the halls of the White House especially now, "Speak softly, and carry a big stick", and as Ronald Regan had stated that the difference between a socialist and a capitalist is that the capitalist respects the heart of the people where the socialist does not.

Who do you want to rock your baby's cradle?

There is a saying that goes something like this, "The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world." The government has been pulling a lot of tricks to get their blood stained claws on our children. They have made it impossible to pay for health insurance, and have provided for child care...an attempt to rock the cradle...which is not a government intended service. If we want to have a say in our world we should be the one to provide for and protect our children. Take your role as a parent and rock your own baby's cradle.

Some trust in Chariots

There are some days that it may be hard to know who you can trust in. One who does not trust in God or a Christian who does not continually trust in Him are two examples of people who would have a hard time knowing who to trust in. One can not nor should trust in their job especially these days. Today for example I found out that I have less than thirty hours of work. If you times that by 7.55 per hour and figure that is before taxes you know that it will be a small pay check. God has a design for everything that He designed. In the master plan for man He designed it to be governed by Faith, or trust. If we trust in anything else than God then we will be heading for major problems. God said to trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not into thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him in all thy ways and He shall direct thy path. We proudful people do not wnt to trust in anything but what we find easy to trust in. We tend to trust in things that we can either see or reason with our mindsl but God is not one we can see or reason with our minds. Because God is too high to understand with our minds its top hard which hurts our pride, if anything hurts our pride we don't wnt it. We must trust in Gods Son first to live the way God designed is to if we are to see any kind of blessing from God. Remember "some trust in chariots" but will you trust Jesus to save you and show you the way?

Redemption by Adoption

When the Lord put the world into existence He also had an eternal plan for what He was going to do with one very important part of creation...Man. God's plan to redeem man was from the very beginning, "from the foundations of the world." Man was once the children of the devil but God in His infinite mercy towards the unworthy part of creation, set in motion the plan of Salvation. We who were once children of the devil can now be adopted by the only Savior Jesus Christ. He bought us with His precious blood and has given man a way to heaven. You can now be an heir with Christ (Romans 8:15-17). The adoption of God is for every person who calls on Him to be saved. In a world that wants to look to "A" god and not to the one and only true God there is still time to accept Jesus Christ the Son of God Savior as your personal savior.

Our great God & Savior

Psalm 2 begins with a question as to why the heathen are the way they are. Paul tells us in the book of I Cor. That the natural man is without understanding of the spiritual. They don't understand that God will have "the last laugh" and that it is Jesus that will be the ruler of this world after the seven years of tribulation. Love for man and God is the instruction for all of us who hold a place of authority. We are to fear God and obey Christ as God and Savior.

The Importance of A Moment

The home is a special place for family to take care of each other. It is the place where we can rest from the pressures of life. This morning I awoke feeling quite unrested after a difficult night thanks to something called "false labor". I found it amazing that I was able to sit and enjoy watching the children play and learn. Before long I realized that I had gained rest & strength from taking a moment to enjoy their childish play! How often do we rush about when we feel tired and push the children into another room so we can "get things done"? They are the ones we are serving yet we feel that we have to put them out of our way in order to best "help" them. THEN I began to think about My Heavenly Father whom I serve. How often do I feel like I need to skip time for devotion to Him -where I would gain strength and rest- in order to "serve" HIM? How often do I neglect to take a moment to enjoy my Savior's face?
